Why Yoga for Breakers

With intense training by Guru Soham, Gaurav is a certified Master Yoga Trainer who combines yoga with breaking. He says, “From my personal experience as a breaker with 10 years of training, dance can sometimes be painful for the body and actually increase the levels of anxiety. When I turned to yoga, I realized that the body can be balanced better and helps reduce body soreness that all dancers experience, post intense practice. I’m convinced that all professional level dancers should practice it. Yoga teaches individuals to listen and be in control of their bodies (heart-rate, breathing, sensations, and feelings). Yoga can benefit dancers and help them increase their performance skills, while keeping up their levels of wellbeing.”
